In a KSTP interview, RS EDEN applauds Minnesota’s newest legislative efforts aimed at breaking down barriers to help individuals successfully transition out of prison and into the community.

Celebrating the successes of an RS EDEN client, President & CEO Caroline Hood shared how the law passed in May will help individuals secure documents (Social Security card, birth certificate, ID) that are a must-have when looking for housing, getting prescriptions, and finding work. after incarceration. As she puts it in the story, having those pieces in place can be the “stepping stones to be able to successfully reenter the community.”
