RS EDEN’s two community reentry sites (halfway houses) in St. Paul serve adults exiting incarceration, reentering the community, and involved with the criminal justice system. Our Sentence to Service Program, an in lieu of incarceration option, offers you the opportunity to invest in the community, received critical mental and substance use support while you complete your sentence. Through the delivery of comprehensive support and services, we can help you successfully integrate back into community.

Safe and Supportive Community Reentry

Coming home after incarceration is exciting, and a little scary. There is a lot of work to do, and not a lot of time to do it. RS EDEN is here to help. We offer evidence-based, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care in our community settings. Comprehensive case management, mental health and substance use disorder services are provided in safe, supportive settings. We help empower you to take your next step toward independence.

Program FAQs

No. There used to be a fee to participate in STS. There used to be fees, but they were eliminated in 2021.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services may be required by your parole or probation officer. If they are not required, we highly encourage all participants to access these services that can greatly improve overall wellbeing.

This will depend on how long your terms of supervision last and when you are able to move out into the community. RS EDEN staff work closely with supervising agents to support successful transitions from the halfway houses back into the community.

Yes. Reconnecting with family and friends who support your goals are critical to your success. We work closely with your supervising agents to create a plan that includes time to reconnect with loved ones while you live at RS EDEN.
